It was late for any witch to find themselves in a pub like this, but early for a vampire like Jakob to come strolling in. Slayer walked into the pub not exspecting a drink, but exspecting the owner t obe here for a discussion. Neither of them have met before, but he hoepd that maybe this would change. There were whispers. Murmurs that Moira was the kind of vampire who was strong, yet cunning and manipulative: someone that Jakbo could use as a recruiter for his little society.
He would ask Juliette to recruit her but Jakob couldn't afford to command her to go into knockturn alley these days. Already Juliette has told Jakob that two Aurors came knocking on her bookshop demanding... questions... about her past. Jakob still needed Juliette, and for that, he found himself seated by the bar.
(sorry it is so sloppy and short. I wanted to post this up today so we can get this started, but I am running a little bit short on time)

vampires had a smell about them. It wasn't detectable to a human, but to a vampire, it was very distinct. The aroma was a mixture of death and age, riddled with other more personalized scents. For instance, some vampires had described Moira's scent as a smooth mixture of honey and spice.
The vampire who walked into her bar was instantly distinguished as such due to the notable scent of death that clung to him. Death with the barest hint of age. He was young - no more than half a century she would guess. Since it wasn't unusual to get vampires in The Bloody Mary, Moira thought nothing of it. She merely continued on about her business until the man took a seat at the bar.
"What will you have?" she asked, her Irish accent smoothing out the words. Her expression was businesslike and her tone matched it accurately.

Jakob looked up at Moira. He not needed a nose to fossfick her race. What he really desired was a small sample of loyalty; a taste that would presiely tell him whether or not he would exspet the right achievements to come out on this star stary night. Slayer thought tonight he could surprise Moira by speaking in, what he could assume by the ancient scent of her blood, her natural tounge: A dilect to which she hasn't heard from a long time...
"Quis operor vos consilium?"[footnote:1]"What do you suggest?"[/footnote] he asked, staring into her eyes with a small smirk on his face. Another man next to him seemed to have found the opertunity to look at Jakob twice, feeling that the vampire next to him could possibly not be from around here. Slayer did not venerate his presence. Instead, Jakob twittled his fingers, waiting for Moira to respond.

moira liked to think she was at least somewhat intelligent. In her long life, it was safe to assume she had amounted the required experience to be privy to common sense if nothing else. And that sense made her think the young vampire had strayed into her pub on accident or whim. In fact, unless she was very much mistaken, he seemed to be there for her. This both piqued her interest and annoyed her. It was not common for vampires to seek out companionship and those that did desire such a thing were led to Romania and the seat of the Vampire Council. So she couldn't help but be curious as to what he wanted. Yet at the same time, she didn't appreciate him drawing the attention of her customers. No one knew Moira was a vampire - no human, anyhow. And she very much wanted to keep it that way. If this young pup exposed her, there would be hell to pay. And he would be the debtor.
"Quis operor vos consilium?" the man asked. Clearly he wanted to make an impression.
"Whatever is most expensive," she replied, not bothering flaunt her knowledge of different languages. Her Irish accent set her apart quite enough in her opinion.

He was insulted to the fact that such a vampire would us the native tounge of mortls. What does she have to hide? How did she get away of not being a vampire, but hosting a pup for them to gather? It wasn't like witches and wizards liked their kind. Did they see her as an activist? Jakob laughed thinkng of how foolish wizards would be if that came into their mind. He also laugh, only slightly, with Moira's statement. It could have made him a to quoque; someone who critisizes others hypocritically, but it did not matter. He needed not a reason to be unjust.
"Perhaps it is possible that we nevr met." Jakob said, in a tone of mockery. The odds that two vampires which.. hunted... in the same area for this many years would make such a theory a very uncommon occurence. "I am Jakob Slayer, and I was wondering if perhaps you could be ever so kind as to have a word with me on a few matters of discussion."

already he was annoying her. The way he laughed at her mockingly and smirked - as though he were above her - was entirely ridiculous. At a fraction of her age - and a minuscule one at that - he was no more above her than a muggle. If he wanted something of her, he was doing a poor job at making her want to help him at all. Torture him for eternity, perhaps, but not help him.
"Perhaps it is possible that we never met." Perhaps? Cocky little shit... "I am Jakob Slayer, and I was wondering if perhaps you could be ever so kind as to have a word with me on a few matters of discussion."
Honestly, she would rather slide down a rail of razor blades and land in a vat of alcohol, but curiosity got the best of her. She wanted to know what he could possibly want from her, to seek her out like this. It was just so rare for a vampire to do this.
Plucking a 'Be Back Soon' sign from under the counter, Moira placed it silently onto the bar as a way of answering his question. Her customers would be fine for a few minutes and this surely wouldn't take long.
"Follow me," she stated, turning away and loping gracefully to the backroom. She didn't bother to check behind her to see if he was following - if he wanted to talk, he would. And if he didn't follow? Well, then it was about time she took her break anyway.
The backroom wasn't gigantic, but it was decently-sized. Along the whole right side were shelves and shelves of liquor, napkins, disposable utensils, and other such necessary, non-perishable items. And along the left side was the refrigerator, which contained yet more alcohol, food, and, of course, blood. In the middle of the space sat the tiny 'break room'. All it was composed of was a small round table and three mismatched chairs - a plain four-legged wooden one, an easy chair, and a grander-looking carved wooden chair with a red velvet seat.
Moira lowered herself into the easy chair, crossed her legs, and laid her hands gently in her lap, waiting for Jakob to state his business.

The room was small. He can see this much. There was also very little chance of Jakob finding an alterate route out of the cupboard if needed be. openings that could be broken could be identified, no sign of ventilation could be seen. If things got messy between them, it would end with only one of them walking out the other door. He did not exspect things to, for Jakob was a man of words, and ould try to keep situations as peace for a slong as possible.
He entered the room and noticed the seating arrangements. "May I take a seat?" he asked.

she waited patiently in her seat as the young vampire gazed around the back room - no doubt counting the very few escape routes. Did he expect the meeting to turn sour or was he simply being cautious? Until she knew more of the business he came to discuss, she couldn't really say for sure.
"May I take a seat?" he asked simply.
What would he do if she said no? Did he honestly expect her to make him stand throughout the discussion? Whether he was finally trying to show some manners or not, the question was quite obsolete.
"Please do," she responded, the words polite but her tone and expression disinterested.
Get on with it, child, she thought silently.

Jakob seated himself.
"I was hoping that you would be able to do me a few favors, as seeing how well set off your shop is, and the position you have placed it in. I run a... society of my own, which needs a place for recruiting." Jakob folded his legs before continuing. "It would pay well, never the less, and you would be treated fairly amoung us." He was of coruse, referring to how the wizarding world looked at them.
