It is possible that you are not familiar with all the jobs that a witch or wizard could possibly have in the wizarding world. Below, you will find all the jobs that have been accepted by J.K. Rowling and can be used in the RP world!
Come take a look, for you may encounter with many more unqieu ideas in making a character. They are listed below, and can simply be applied for by adding it to your profile. However, note that some jobs that consist of only one person might already be taken, so it is important for you to read the whole description before requesting the job.
Those jobs that are link need to fill out an application before applying. To do so, simply click the link and fill out the necessary requirements the thread asks you.
Hint: If you are looking to be a Death Eater, pick a job on this thread that has not been taken by anyone else. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Name might find you useful if no one else in your field is interested in joining him...

A Arithmancer- a wizard or witch who specialises in the field of Arithmancy - a Hogwarts subject that involves using complicated number charts to make predictions. Well known Arithmancer, Septima Vector, teaches the subject at Hogwarts.
Auror- a member of an elite unit of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Magic trained to capture Dark wizards and witches. Auror training is very difficult and intensive, so there are few qualified applicants. No Auror had been taken on for three years prior to 1995, though Nymphadora Tonks stated that she qualified the year before, meaning she was probably one of the last candidates taken on.
B Broom-maker- is a person that creates broomsticks. They are now rare because single-wizard broomstick companies often fail because demand outstrips supply.
Breeder- Animal trainer in the magical world are just as important as the ones in ours!
C Curse Breaker- a profession at the wizard's bank Gringotts, in which a wizard or witch is asked to break curses in ancient tombs to bring back lots of gold to Gringotts. Although, they are known to work in Egypt

E Executioner-charged with the execution of magical creatures deemed to be a threat to others by the Ministry of Magic's Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures. Since the end of the Second Wizarding War it is unknown who is now fulfilling the role of executioner.

H Healer- the Wizarding world equivalent of a Muggle Doctor. They tend to the sick and injured at St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
Headmaster or Headmistress (or Highmaster, in Durmstrang Institute)-the chief administrator of a School of Magic. They make all major decisions regarding the safety and the day-to-day functioning of the school, and have the power to override any decision made by any other authoritative facilitator at the school. This position is taken by Albus Dumbledore
Herbologist- a wizard or witch who is a specialist in the field of herbology. Pomona Sprout and Neville Longbottom were both Professors of Herbology at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, while Tilden Toots was a celebrity herbologist in the Wizarding world.
Hit Wizard -a highly trained wizard tasked with arresting dangerous criminals. Entry requirements are five O.W.L.s including Defence Against the Dark Arts. Applicants for the job must be over the age of seventeen. Once accepted, they are taught defensive charms and counter-curses, and how to restrain criminals without attracting the attention of Muggles.

K The Knight Bus is a triple-decker, purple bus that assists stranded individuals of the wizarding community through public transportation. It operates at a very fast speed and obstacles will jump out of its way. You can be either the driver or the conductor!

M The Magical Law Enforcement Patrol (formerly known as the Magical Law Enforcement Squad) - a subdivision of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement in the Ministry of Magic, comprised of a team of wizards and witches tasked with general law enforcement.
Magizoologist- a person who studies magical creatures (a field known as magizoology), they may possibly also be referred to as wizarding naturalists.
Mediwizard- the wizarding equivalent to a medic. Mediwizards work at St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. Mediwizards are also field doctors.
Minister for Magic- the leader of the wizarding world in the United Kingdom, which somewhat corresponds to the British Prime Minister. One of the Minister for Magic's duties is to correspond with the British Prime Minister of any ongoing in the wizarding world that will affect the United Kingdom as a whole,
Muggle Relations- A witch or wizard whom is trained under communications to work with muggles in their world. High grades in muggle studies are necessary in order to be considered in this group.
Musician-is an individual who makes music as a profession, especially by performing music. Note that we are in 1995, and music gneres should match accordingly.
N Newspaper Reporter/Columnist- interview, take pictures, and writes in the newspaper. We are in need of this specific job now!
O Obliviator- an employee of the Ministry of Magic tasked with keeping the Wizarding world hidden from Muggles.
P Potioneer- a witch or wizard who makes potions for a living. This could include working as a professional brewer, studying or inventing potions, or teaching potions as a subject at a wizarding school.
[/b]Professor[/b]- It is presumed that wizards and witches do not need any form of specific education, other than having received their O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s, to gain the title of Professor and become a Hogwarts teacher, as people such as Dolores Umbridge were able to become teachers at Hogwarts. However, Dumbledore is very picky with whom he chooses. He exspects witches or wizards to be highly edjucated and contain loads of experience in the field.
Q Quidditch Player- Much like the muggle world, professional quidditch players should be quite skilled in Quidditch and be recruited by a team.
Quidditch Referee- must be familiar with the rules and have completed some training.

S Shop Keeper- Anyone can open up a shop, but they must first have the gold to do it.
Spell Inventor- Someone whom is interesting in inventing spells can be rewarded in a certificate in inventing spells. Although anyone can make a spell, it is recommended to go into training first.
T Secrurity Troll Trainer- It described the training one would require to enter the field of security Troll training, and the avenues of study they would have to pursue.
U An Unspeakable- a person who works in the Ministry of Magic's Department of Mysteries. As little is known about their workplace, less is known about the jobs of its employees. They are very mysterious and are not allowed to talk about their work or their department, hence the name "Unspeakable."

W Wandmaker- There are many makers of wands, but the best known, and most experienced in Britain is Ollivander's. The wandmaking establishment has been making wands since 382 BC and is located in Diagon Alley, London.
